Relay is UCCF's mission and discipleship training year for graduates who love CUs. Relay Workers have a unique opportunity to serve on the front lines of student mission whilst receiving training tailored to help them apply the gospel in all areas of life. As well as a weekly programme of core study, Relay Workers choose an area of elective study to suit their own interests and gifts.
Theology Network Elective Study
On your Relay year, you have the option to take the Theology Network elective as part of your study. This gives you the opportunity to work through some of the main challenges of studying theology at university and develop a coherent, gospel-centred approach to theology.
If you're hoping to go on into the world of work or ministry after Relay, the elective will help you draw together the loose threads of your study in a constructive way and apply it to life as a Christian. If you're considering further study, the elective is a great bridge from undergrad to postgrad that will lay down foundations to serve you well in your academic career.
Theology Network Ministry Focus
Alongside the elective study material, Relay Workers may choose to support the Theology Network in a variety of ways, including creating digital resources, supporting a local Theology Network hub, meeting one-to-one with theology students, attending the Theology Network seminar track at Word Alive, and helping to host other Theology Network events.
If you are interested in applying to Relay with a Theology Network ministry focus, email the Theology Network Coordinator (theology@uccf.org.uk) and speak to your staff worker.
