Confused about creation? Evolution provoking existential angst? You're certainly not alone. Debate in evangelical circles about exactly how God created everything has been ongoing since 'On the Origin of Species' was first published, and even before that. In our spring reading group, we're exploring an ancient yet surprisingly fresh perspective to help shed some light on the question of origins.
We're joining with our friends in the Science Network as we take a look way back beyond Darwin, to explore what the fourth century theologian Augustine of Hippo believed about creation. Expect to have your modern preconceptions challenged, your understanding of Scripture enriched, and your view of our Creator enlarged.
We'll meet online regularly across the spring term to discuss Gavin Ortlund's book chapter-by-chapter, starting in the week beginning 24 January.
